About

My name is Steve Jubinville. I am a senior Character Modeler & Texture Artist for Film and Video Game industry. I'm a traditional artist and a photographer too. I have strong leadership skills and a good ability to plan work in complex schedule, devoted, enthusiastic and team player. I’ve had the chance in Canada to teach software like Softimage and Zbrush to students and professional companies. I'm working very closely with the Pixologic team (Zbrush) I teach in the past at Ubisoft, Hybride, Crystal Dinamic, EA, Beenox and many more.
I'm actually based in Los Angeles where i'm working since a couple of month for OOOii Realtime as a senior Character Artist. The reason why I want to move is because I am looking for a more interesting challenge where I can unleash my passion for creating high quality characters. Pixar has always been a company that looked to me very impressive in their superior standards and my contribution would be very benefic for both our future.
Before moving to LA, I had the chance to lead the Meduzarts character department and being the Character Artistic Director ( www.meduzarts.com ) where I’ve supervised more than 15 person. My role for this company has been more than only build character asset; I’ve had to create, sculpt, concept in Zbrush, a lot of pipeline R&D, Look dev and more. I worked on many feature like, 300, Journey 3-d, White Out, Shorts, DragonBall, Final Destination. I have experience on CG double, Character, Creature, Environment, Props and Vehicles asset for film and cinematic. I can create Facial Shape and Body Shape deformation.
